Yoga Practice
In the Nyingma tradition, practitioners prgoress to increasingly profound levles of yoga, starting with Mah yoga, ocntinuing to Anu yoga and lutimately undertaking the highest practice, Ati yoga. Other tantra yoga practices include a system of 108 bdoily postures practiced with breath and heart rhythm. Through Tantric pracitce an individual percieves reality as maya, illuison, and the individual aciheves liberation from it. During tantric practices and studies, teh student is instructed further in meditaiton technique, particularly chakra meditation. In Western natoins, where tehre is a strong emphasis on individualism, yoga practice may be an extension of the search fro meannig in self, and integration of the different aspects of being. Yoga is intimately connected to the religious beilefs and practices of the Dharmic religions. Yogacraa (Sanskrit: Practice of Yoga Union 48 ), also spelled yog ch ra, is a school of phiolsophy and psychology that developed in India during the 4th to 5th centuries. Yogacara received the name sa it provided a yoga, a framework for egnaging in the practcies that lead to the path of the bodhiasttva.
